Corporate and departmental intranet

SPSites is an intranet-ready corporate solution in SharePoint (On-premise or Online) that allows you to manage sections and their security.

Each department can have its own sub-site to manage news and content independently (HR, Systems, Finance, etc.).

The site manages permissions to publish, approve and control content. It also offers announcements, document libraries, links, galleries, wikis and other resources to facilitate internal communication.

Home page

The Intranet home page is designed according to the needs of each organization, starting from an initial predefined structure that integrates main news within a carousel, personal indicators, announcements, links to access tools and other elements. There is a corporate home page and there may also be a departmental home page, specializing its focus on those elements that are of interest. The link to an element will lead to the expansion of that information or tool.

News management

The tool includes a review and approval workflow that allows to escalate news from departmental areas to the corporate front page. News can be visible only in your area or also at the corporate level.

They can be created online or using Word templates, with free editing and reserved fields (such as title or publication environment). At the end, the Publish button is enabled.

This simplifies the creation of news items with text, photos and other elements.

Automatic ad posting process

A process can be developed for the automatic publication of ads in the ads on the front page based on searches on specific sources that are defined, for example:

- Advance notice of birthdays in the next few days or that will occur during the weekend.

- Notice of upcoming licenses, or other types of events to be defined

Any situation that can be detected with a DB search can facilitate the publication of an advertisement, and the same can be done impersonating a certain generic user.

Functions and modules

The Intranet can include announcements, document libraries, links, galleries, wikis and other components at all levels.

Document libraries allow you to publish and manage instructions, documentation, downloads, etc.

It can also be integrated with modules such as SPStaff (licensing), SPKB (knowledge), SPQM (quality) or other custom developments. It includes functionalities such as suggestions and opinions from users and a centralized search engine.

Only users with specific permissions can operate certain functions, such as posting ads.

Corporate search

The availability of a corporate search engine is a key element of any Intranet, to facilitate access to information. The elements to be used will be connected to the taxonomy to generate which will facilitate the availability of 'refiners' to narrow down the results. The result displayed by Sharepoint also provides automatic prioritization of results according to the level of matching of each element with the search text used, previews and other advanced features.
